Fettuchine al burro
Ingredients
14 oz | fettuchine |
½ cup | butter, softened |
~9 oz. | paremsan, finely grated |
Directions
Boil heavily salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
Meanwhile, grate your parmesan into a fine powder. Place the softened butter into a large mixing bowl.
Once the pasta is cooked, reserve about ¾ of a cup of the pasta water and then drain the rest.
Immediately add the pasta to the bowl of butter and toss. Once the butter is almost fully melted add the grated parmesan. Mix vigorously, adding the reserved pasta water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
